Who are we? We are God’s children; God’s servants; servants to each other as members of the same church family; missionaries to unbelievers, to members of our congregation, and to our own families; a praising and worshipping people; stewards who have been entrusted with the true faith and also entrusted with countless material blessings; sinners/saints/saved. That is who we are!
Why are we? We exist as those whom God has loved first to serve the Lord, to learn more of Him and His great love for us and to follow His command to go into all the world with the Good News of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, beginning right here in our homes and our community. That is why we are here!
Where are we? We are in our homes, our families, our community, our church, our state and in God’s world. We are in a time of transition, not only out in the world, but also in our church family. We are people who are involved in Kingdom Growth and not just Church Growth. We are in a faith based atmosphere. We are a Hospital for sinners and not a Country Club for saints.
Where are we going? The bottom line is that we are going to heaven to be with Jesus and we don’t want to go alone, wanting to take as many others as possible with us as the Holy Spirit uses our witness to create faith in the heart of others. We want to become a church that is marked also by its peace, unity, and cooperation. We are aiming for spiritual growth. We are striving to be proactive and not just reactive. We want to be all things to all people so that many more may know the joy of salvation. We are people going where God leads us as we discern His direction through the study of His Word and prayer. We are people who want to plan for change as we move forward with the Gospel message of forgiveness and salvation that has been entrusted to us.
